In the face of increasing external pressure and internal difficulties, China's rubber industry still maintains a growth trend. According to the statistical data of 395 key member enterprises in 11 branches (committees) of the China Rubber Industry Association, the current total industrial output value of China's rubber industry reached 519.096 billion yuan in 2024, a year-on-year increase of 7.67%. Among them, three majors including tires, power tires, and latex have increased by over 10%, demonstrating strong development momentum; However, there has been a negative growth in the specialty of carbon black and rubber additives, with a widening decline in carbon black and a narrowing decline in rubber additives.
In terms of sales revenue, the rubber industry achieved a sales revenue of 521.153 billion yuan in 2024, an increase of 5.91%. The four majors of tire, rubber products, latex, and waste rubber have seen significant increases, exceeding 10%; However, carbon black and rubber additives showed negative growth.
The export delivery value also achieved significant growth in 2024, reaching 198.014 billion yuan, an increase of 12.06%. Six majors, including tires, power tires, rubber products, latex, carbon black, and skeleton materials, have seen an increase of over 10%, demonstrating their competitiveness in the international market.
The export rate (value) of the rubber industry was 39.32%, an increase of 2.15 percentage points. The export rates (values) of multiple specialties such as tires and latex were higher than 30% or the previous year, highlighting the important position and export capacity of these specialties in the international market.
